Ways of the West 2026 - Comp Registration

WAYS OF THE WEST WEEKEND #2
AUGUST 28-30, 2026

Come out for a weekend of good times, great people and enough skating to make you have a rest on Monday.

What to expect:

Friday August 28, 2026
Group Path Skate around Vancouver's beautiful Stanley Park Seawall.
Meet up at Sunset Beach 6:00pm with a plan to roll out at 7:00pm.
(please have all the supplies 😉 you need to enjoy your night ready and with you before the skate rolls out)

Saturday August 29, 2026
Aggressive Skating Competition and skate at one of the lower mainland's favourite parks, Railside skatepark.
Warm ups and registration (registration will also be online @shredmonton.inline) will start at 10:00 am with contest starting at 11:00am.
Contest is open to all levels of skaters (in-line and quads) format is a group mini jam, skating in each heat for 5 min.
Cash-For-Tricks and prizes for top skaters in the separate divisions, with a group voting system to determine top skater in each group.
After party details will be given closer to the date.

Sunday August 30, 2026
Group Path Skate on North Vancouvers, Seymour Demonstration Forest. Meet in parking lot at 10:30 am with roll out at 11:30am
(once again have all the supplies you need ready before the skate )

All skates events are recommended for intermediate to advanced riders.
All skate events and skating are done at your own risk.
Vancouver Bladers is there to help organize and support these events, but take no responsibility for your individual skating or personal injury.
Come out, have fun and skate responsibly!
Pads are not required but strongly recommended for those pushing there limits.
